Welcome to my webpage and my blog. The topic here is mentioned in the title of this page, it is about a report of my detour to Santiago Compostela. The basis of this trip is supposed to be the book “Road to Santiago” by Cees Nootenboom. In this book he describes his trips through Spain in the years from 1981 to 1992. In addition he reports of different events in Spanish history. In my blog and in my trip I would like to trace some of these reports. At the same time in my blog I would like to include Spain as I encounter it today.
Under the section “About” you can find some more facts about me, about the author of the book “Road to Santiago” and further information, that might be helpful to understand this page and blog.
It could also be the case that not everything you find here is immediately understandable. That is then on purpose. Maybe it will be understood later, or maybe never.
